About the Software

FReader (or Efficient Reader) is an innovative computer program created by the Switzerland-based company ReadingSoft.com. Designed to improve reading skills, it contains exercises to:

• expand both horizontal and vertical eye spans;
• increase recognition rate;
• decrease fixation time.

Reading tests are performed at the beginning of each session, and the results for each type of exercise or test are logged. Each user can then track his or her progress, and since the software keeps track of up to six users at a time, it's convenient for sharing with the entire family.

Users also accelerate their pace within each training session through the use of a variety of reading modes - these, in turn, help to generate new, beneficial, reading habits. And because the exercises rely on content-specific information, the user at the same time acquires the principles of efficient reading, as well as the techniques to apply when reading a variety of materials. A computer program such as FReader is the most effective way to exploit these reading aids, and Certified Learning Centers, Inc. is the only company that includes such software as part of its speed reading course materials.
